Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Cowl Tag Auto Parts LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (“we”). By using the site or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Quotes and orders
- A request for a part is not an order, and a quote is not a contract. An order exists when you approve a quote and we accept your payment.
- Quotes are valid for seven days unless they say otherwise, because distributor stock and prices change.
- If a part becomes unavailable or was priced in error, we will tell you and refund anything you paid for it within five business days. We are not obliged to supply a part at a mistaken price.
Fitment
We match parts using the vehicle details you give us and the catalog data published by manufacturers and distributors. Accurate details from you matter: a part matched to the wrong VIN or the wrong options is unlikely to fit.
Check every part against your vehicle before painting, modifying or installing it. Our return policy covers parts that are still new.
Installation
Vehicle parts should be installed by a qualified technician. Lighting, cooling and structural bumper parts affect the safe operation of a vehicle. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation, modification or use.
Returns and warranty
Returns, damage claims and warranty are covered on Returns and warranty, which forms part of these terms.
Most parts carry a manufacturer’s limited warranty, named on your quote. Apart from that warranty and what we promise in our return policy, parts are sold without any other warranty, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so this may not apply to you.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected to a part or an order is limited to the amount you paid for that part. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as labor, paint, towing, vehicle rental or loss of use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Using this website
- The guides and tools here are general information, not professional repair advice for your vehicle.
- The Partslink decoder and VIN check read the structure of a number. They do not confirm that a part fits.
- Please do not misuse the site: no scraping at volume, no attempts to disrupt it, no false or abusive submissions.
Names and trademarks
Cowl Tag Auto Parts is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any vehicle manufacturer. Vehicle makes and models, original-equipment part numbers and brand names are used only to describe what a part fits, and belong to their owners. Partslink is a trademark of the Automotive Body Parts Association.

Marketplace purchases
Purchases made through a marketplace such as eBay are also subject to that marketplace’s terms. Where they conflict with these, the marketplace’s terms govern that purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted on the day you place an order applies to that order.
