About Cowl Tag Auto Parts
We are an online retailer of new aftermarket replacement parts: lighting, mirrors, bumpers and body panels, cooling and A/C. The company is Cowl Tag Auto Parts LLC, formed in Scottsdale, Arizona in October 2026 by Troy Massey.
Where the name comes from
On a classic General Motors car, the cowl tag is a small aluminum plate riveted to the firewall under the hood. The body plant stamped it with the body style, the trim, the paint and the week the body was started. Restorers treat it as the car’s birth certificate.
We sell parts for modern vehicles, where the VIN and the factory build record do the job the tag once did. The principle is the same. A replacement part is right when it matches how that one car was built, and wrong when it only matches the model.
